Deborah Lippmann dreamed of being a jazz singer while she worked as a manicurist. She worked by night as a club singer while going to cosmetology school by day. She moved to New York, acquired many celebrity clients (including Mariah Carey) for her manicure business, and created a colorful, long-wearing line of nail lacquers. Her nail colors in this collection include colors that she created for some of the hottest celebrities in pop culture.
